About CICE


CICE® is a trade name of Saint-Gobain Céramiques Avancées Desmarquest, a business unit of the Saint-Gobain Ceramics and Plastics Branch.
We are specialized in the design, engineering and manufacturing of ceramic discs and cartridges for water faucets since the early 1970's.

Our product range includes:

  • Ceramic discs for cartridges. More then 1000 different customized design, based on high performance sintered alumina;
  • Single Lever Cartridges - More then 40 standard patterns of OPTIMA - and we work closely with our customers on their specific needs;
  • Thermostatic Faucets cartridges OPTIMA TH and diverter cartridges OPTIMA DI with CICE high perfrormance ceramic discs;
  • 2-Handle cartridges : our range NORMA includes more than 200 patterns;
  • Customized high performance ceramic components for industrial  fluid handling applications including automotive industry, nuclear plants, chemical industry, household and others.

Research and development
In order to keep improving the performance of the ceramic materials and the manufacturing process we benefit from 2 extensive Research & Developement centers in Cavaillon (France) and Northboro, MA (USA).
Our organisation includes a performant after-sales service which will be glad to advice, answer to your questions or find customized solutions.

Manufacturing and operating sites
Our manufacturing plants are located in Montreuil, France (which is also the Headquarter), Courtenay (France) and  Turnov (Czech Republic).
